AIFF Player Plus 3.2

AIFF Player Plus is an audio player, converter and recorder. It’s a simple program with no extra features or advanced capabilities. It supports the following file formats: AIFF, AIF, AIFC, MP3 and WAV. It can convert to WAV, MP3 and WMA.

As a player, this software does not impress with anything. It’s maybe too simple. The included recorder has the same “qualities”. The maximum recording time is 30 seconds and the maximum bit depth is 16 bits (you can only record to WAV). In comparison, Windows Sound Recorder seems to be an advanced recording tool.

The best part of this program is the audio converter. It’s fast, it supports batch conversions and the output settings can be tweaked.

Considering that this application is almost useless as a player and recorder, the audio converter seems to be the only part that makes it worthwhile. However, this doesn’t justify the price for the full version.

In conclusion, if you have some AIFF files that need to be converted to other formats, this program is useful. Otherwise, you’re better off with almost any other audio player and if you need to record sound, Sound Recorder is superior.
